ReplyDeleteI have a question for you. For CT Layout Designers such as myself, we are allowed to use templates when creating a layout using our designer’s kit, but the kit designer cannot apply credit to the template designer where layouts are advertised to "sell" kits. We ARE allowed to give credit to the template designer in all of the galleries we post our layouts to.
These templates are referred to as either CU or ct-friendly. CU templates can be used to create quick pages for sale. CT-friendly templates can be used by kit designers to showcase their CT designer’s layouts. The kit designer can't give credit to anyone except themselves, but the CT layout designer can give credit to the template designer in galleries she posts to.
1) Are your templates CU?
2) Are your templates CT-friendly?
3) If your templates are CT-friendly, do you require that credit is given in galleries other than those of the kit designers?
I’ve explained this to the best of my ability! I hope I have explained it well enough for you to be able to provide a response. Thank you so much for your templates and thank you for addressing this issue. I want to be sure to give credit where credit is due - your response is greatly appreciated!
